Actually, Caitlin, the burden of proof is on Mueller, and he hasn’t even begun to share the evidence with us. Why are you so anxious to jump to conclusions? Have you even READ the piece in the Atlantic about Manafort? Or James Risen’s piece on The Intercept? This goes really deep into an organized global crime syndicate that just happens to have provided Russia the opportunity to potentially influence American politics at the highest levels. Russian money laundering through the Republican Party? You see no potential in that??! But we won’t really know if the dots all connect until Mueller wants us to know, and until then I just think all these pronouncements on BOTH sides is silly. WHATEVER HAPPENED TO KEEPING AN OPEN MIND? At least, until all the evidence has been presented. Color me old-fashioned.
